Natural Mineral Water
Deeside Mineral Water flows from the historic springs at Pannanich Wells within the protected Cairngorms National Park, the largest in the British Isles and close to Balmoral Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
Our location, 600 feet above sea level and two miles from Ballater, is one of true wilderness and outstanding natural beauty, unspoilt with open heather moorland and no human interference to the natural eco system.
Over 1 billion litres of rain fall around the springs every year. The water spends around 50 years filtering naturally through the layers and crevices of underground rocks, a geology consisting of mostly granite with a little quartz.
The water flows naturally under its own pressure from the artesian springs on the heather clad hillside. The whole system is naturally sustainable as part of the local water cycle and any not used flows into the nearby river
